About Sukhothai

Located at 398 Harrisburg Ave #450, Lancaster, PA 17603, Sukhothai operates as a thai restaurant serving Lancaster in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under takeout restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Lancaster, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 1 day a week. Typical hours are 11 AM–8 PM. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Sukhothai at (717) 517-9422; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is sukhothai-lancaster.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Lancaster is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Lancaster is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The place looks clean and spacious. Food is quick. Service is very attentive. Food is ok, the fried tofu is overpriced and just mediocre. Mango salad is refreshing. We ordered a lot so got to try many different things. Would come back for the service or certain dish but not recommend the tofu.

I ordered Spicey Thai Beef Drunken Noodles. My girlfriend ordered Coconut Soup and Fresh Rolls. To put this place in perspective for you, I have been all around the world and have had authintic Thai while I lived in Phuket. This place hit it out of the ballpark. Everything was perfectly cook and fresh. The Drunken Noodles were amazing! I ordered the highest spice level, Spicey Thai, but it wasn’t as spicy as it would have been if I ordered it in Phuket but the depth of spice was really good. The Coconut Soup was perfectly sweet and seasoned. This is one of these restaurants that I will need to complete the menu checklist for!

Everything about this place was top notch! Server was absolutely amazing. I haven't had that kind of service anywhere in a very long time. Food was excellent. Had panang curry, drunken noodles and crispy vegetable rolls. The rolls had actual fresh veggies and tasted like they were freshly made. Veggies were all fresh and seasoning and textures were excellent, tofu was cooked perfectly. Is well worth the price to FINALLY get some good food!

If you want an incredible, affordable lunch special, you’re in luck. You receive an app and meal for less than you would pay at a drive thru! Also, the staff is so kind and always quick. The coconut soup is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. And it can be made vegan. I bring everyone here. It’s a crowd pleaser. Everything is customized for allergies and spices if you tell them. My favorite is the thai rice, coconut soup, curries, and spring rolls. Dont miss out!

The food is so good. Highly recommend pad Thai and coconut soup. There are 5 levels of spiciness so ppl can change depends on their taste. The portion is large (main dish serves enough for 1-2 people). The staffs are friendly and the dishes are served fast. On the menu, the ingredients are listed out, so people can easily check if they're allergic to something and some food are also labeled as gluten free. The vegan can also have many options because the added meat for each dishes cost extra little money. Overall, the experience worth the money.
